SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM

We are not a 'Destination Baptism Church'.
It is preferable that your baby be baptized in your Home Parish. 
You will find it's just the 'introduction' you need to your new Parish. 
 

Parents who are REGISTERED PARISHIONERS should call the Parish Office
to make arrangements for their baby's Baptism.

Baptismal preparation is required if this is your first child being baptized at St. Francis Xavier
or it has been 2 years, or more, since your last class.

Baptisms are usually held the First Saturday of each month at NOON.
But there is a certain amount of flexibility.
You can work that out with the Deacon or Priest who is celebrating.

Godparents (one man and one woman) need to be
Baptized, Confirmed and, if married, married in the Catholic Church.
They will need Sponsor Forms, signed by their Pastor,
stating that they are Catholics in good standing and practicing members of their parish.

There is no 'set' fee, but you can make a donation to the Parish for the Baptism.
